Who We Are
A Farm Built on Honor and Purpose
McMillian Farms exists to improve the health and well-being of veterans by increasing access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables while inspiring the next generation through hands-on agricultural, STEM, and environmental education. Through our Veterans First Food Program, the first harvest is reserved for those who first served, and youth gain practical skills in agriculture, conservation, technology, and community service. By connecting generations through healthy food, education, and volunteerism, McMillian Farms is cultivating stronger veterans, stronger youth, and stronger communities.

Our Story
How We Got Here
McMillian Farms exists to put veterans first by growing fresh, healthy food and ensuring the first harvest goes to those who first served. Through agriculture, youth education, hands-on STEM learning, and environmental stewardship, we improve health, build life skills, and strengthen our community. We believe that healthy food, meaningful education, and service can change lives — one harvest, one student, and one veteran at a time.
A Vision Rooted in Service
McMillian Agriculture Educational Farm was founded on a simple but powerful belief: the people who sacrifice the most for our freedom deserve the first fruits of our labor. What started as a small community garden grew into a mission.
Veterans First Food Program
We formalized our commitment to veterans by launching the Veterans First Food Program — a promise that every season, before anything else, registered veterans receive the freshest harvest from our farm, delivered with honor.
Opening the Farm to Youth
We opened our gates to schools, youth groups, and community organizations. Children began learning to plant, tend, and harvest — connecting with the land and understanding the value of hard work and service.
Growing Together
Today, McMillian Agriculture Educational Farm is a thriving one-acre community farm serving veterans, educating youth, and uniting neighbors around the shared purpose of growing food and honoring service.
